My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although facing the front parking lot and being in the middle of the building, were really cold. On the bright side, they came with access to the club lounge, offering a small breakfast and evening apps. However, there was a strong musty smell that was quite off-putting.

The service was fantastic. Not only did they make a wonderful mint julep, but they were also very accommodating in meeting our requests and incredibly friendly and informative. They even notified me about the poor positioning of a vent and assured they would address it with the proper person.

The hotel's location was good for me, close to everything I wanted to do. I particularly enjoyed using the shuttle service to the concert. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is a drive away from basically everything else, despite being near the fairgrounds in the downtown of Tampa.
